Lady Moscato has been retired to stud.</div> <div> Trainer Bob Wright said this today after the daughter of <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Verdana" ><B>History Lesson-Lady Kero</B></FONT> had cracked a hock in her first straight gallop late last week.</div> <div> The bitch was on the comeback trail after she had split webbing when hot favourite in a 710m race at Albion Park in June.</div> <div> “She would need three months off for the hock to recover, then another couple of months before she would be ready to race,” said Bob.</div> <div> “By that time she would be three and a half and the vet suggested she may not come back as good as she was so it was decided to retire her.”</div> <div> Lady Moscato earned $81,000 for her connections during an outstanding but luckless race career.</div> <div> She was placed in four Group finals.</div> <div> She was second in the Group 2 Vince Curry Maiden at Ipswich, and Lizrene Classic at The Meadows, and third in the Group 1 Albion Park Gold Cup and Sandown Cup.</div> <div> “She had got over the split webbing problem,” said Bob. “I gave her the run up the straight but by the time she was home she was lame.</div> <div> “X-rays confirmed the crack in the hock.”</div> <div> Wright said it was likely Lady Moscato would be mated to champion sprinter El Galo when she comes on season.</div> <div> “It will depend on how many pups she has, but I would think some will be for sale,” he said.</div> <div> Lady Moscato retires the winner of 18 races with 11 seconds and nine thirds. </div> <bR> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP when his star bitch Millennium led throughout to win a 520m Best 8 at Albion Park.</div> <div> The daughter of <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Verdana" ><B>Hallucinate-In My Dreams</B></FONT> scored by five lengths over her kennelmate Grampian with a head to Stone Cold Sober in third.</div> <div> Greg Brennan trains both bitches.</div> <div> Millennium has already won the Group 2 Qld Futurity at Albion Park and her victory on Thursday night took her record to 15 wins and eight placings in 33 starts.</div> <div> Eleven of those wins have been at Albion Park.</div> <div> Millennium and her kennelmate Grampian will come back to Albion Park next Thursday night for a tilt at the heats of the Group 1 Winter Carnival Cup.</div> <div> “Grampian is getting near retirement,” said Greg Brennan.</div> <div> “The end of the winter will probably see her out.</div> <div> “At this stage I am even contemplating putting her to our own dog Shadow Boxer.”</div> <div> Shadow Boxer, one of the <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Verdana" ><B>Hallucinate-Smokey Whisky</B></FONT> led held off Bounding to win a 600m Best 8 at Albion Park on Thursday night.</div> <bR> <div> He scored by a half length in 35.36 with a length and quarter to Texas Ranger in third.</div> <div> It was Genista Reign’s 16th victory in 52 starts and he has run 19 placings.</div> <bR> <div> “Last week’s run was disappointing,” Falls said of Genista Reign’s sixth to Una Play Boy.</div> <div> “But he came out slowly and got back in the field.
